Illinois just can't get out of their own way. But I'm sure they will shoot like gangbusters when we play them.
In the Roy years it seems like Carolina always had at least 2 good big men. Control the boards and run was their MO. How Hubert went into this season with only Washington at the center position is astonishing. Lubin is decent but he is in the 6-7/6-8 range.
Carolina spent a large chunk of their NIL money on Cade Tyson, who is unplayable.
Maybe their plan for a big was to see if Bacot could get a 14th year of eligibility?? Who knows. I believe they tried to get a big but were always outbid in NIL.
Purdue vs Indiana tonight is a perfect example of a rivalry game where you can throw the records out. We better be ready tomorrow.

So surprised they came out at flat especially after losing the other night. Maybe they were still shell shocked with Caleb Love tying it with the beyond half court shot and eventually losing
2 players ejected for fighting in the ASU-Arizona game. Caleb Love headbutted someone. Hurley took his team off the court and sent them to the locker room before the game was over. He didn't shake the Arizona coach's hand. He said the Arizona players were woofing and he was avoiding another fight.
After BC couldn't in bound the ball last week vs the Cheats, they return the favor today vs FSU.
Kansas had a big lead on Baylor and then Baylor went on a 17-0 run. Baylor up 9 with 2 minutes left
I can't stand Cal, but I'll give him props for how he has handled going back to Rupp. He's been surprisingly classy. Which is not his nature.

Kentucky will still be a 4 or 5 seed. maybe a 6. But they are too streaky to be a top 3 seed likely.
Would love Kentucky to be matched up with Bradley University (MVC team from Peoria, IL) as a 5 vs 12 or 6 vs 11 matchup. Bradley is the best 3 point shooting team in the country and would send the cats packing in the 1st round
Actually smart if you ask me . Davis was complaining about needing help in the front court, LeBron about needing more scoring , Davis gets hurt again leaving LeBron by himself . I think Dallas made the right call especially seeing as how they weren’t sure about extending Luka. Basically swapped star players for bigger needs. Only issue is now who is the lakers center ? I think you see Dallas move Davis or Lively . Three centers is one too many .
Saturday was in incredible day for Duke basketball. Obviously we destroyed UNC, but in addition to that, us an Auburn created some separation for a 1 seed.
We could now afford to lose a game or 2 in the ACC (@ Clemson???) and still comfortably be a 1-seed IMO. I'm not one of those "it was a good loss" type person, and I hope we win them all, but we would really have to choke down the stretch to not be a 1-seed.
