OT: Favorite sports movie

I was in Bull Durham! I was in the crowd at the games. You have to know what I was wearing to find me in the crowd shots, but it was cool to do for a day. That and an episode of Matlock in which I played the role of the back of a Janitor (they filmed an episode at the Hospital I worked at) are my claim to fame.

Oh man, that's really cool! I bet it is fun for you to look for yourself in the crowd!

I can't believe it hasn't been said, but Any Given Sunday was a great movie for me.

I also loved White men can't jump.

Blue chips was decent, I thought.

Tin Cup, as mentioned, The Sandlot. Bull Durham. I have a longer list than I thought.

1) Remember the Titans
2) For the Love of the Game
3) The Blind Side
4) Rocky movies

Not necessarily in that order...that's just the order they came to mind

Blue Chips
Glory Road
The greatest game ever played(golf)
Funny
Major league
Mighty Ducks
Caddy shack

Didn't grow up in the 80's but liked Rad. Good movie

Skate board fans so lords of dogtown

For years it was Brian's Song. But right now I'd rank them:

1. Field of Dreams
2. Brian's Song
3. Hoosiers
4. The Natural

The scene when he has a catch with his dad in FoD is as good as it gets; But, right there with it is when Gale Sayers (played by Billy D. Williams) is speaking after Piccolo's death and says, "I loved Brian Piccolo." Brings me to tears every time.

Not in any order but

Youngblood - first sports movie I remember watching
Blind Side
Blue Chips
Space Jam - Does this count???? J/K
Remember the Titans
Brian's Song - great movie!!!

The Greatest Game Ever Played is one of my favorite movies period. I guess it is because I am a golf history junkie, but it is a great story. Which is also based on a true story. Good call shey!
