Official ncaa tournament day 2 thread

College basketball isn’t as popular where I’m at, but I’m in elementary so I’m sure a lot would love it. I did tell my third graders in the morning and they were like yeah!!!! And then I was like nahhhh because it’s not Duke lol

Still teaching?
Retired 8 years ago. I remember in the late 80’s and early 90’s, we would set up two tvs in the gym during the ACC tournament at the Junior High School I taught at. The kids loved it. Any time there was a Tobacco Road game, they would also wear their favorite team’s logo. I was in Roxboro, NC at the time. Those were some fun times teaching. My last 5 years not so much. It’s amazing how the kids today just don’t seem to be into sports and fitness. I got out at the right time. Good luck with your teaching. I taught some elementary P.E. as well.

I remember our teachers in junior high always letting us watch. I loved it.

Mcneese tried to do what State did last year with the dude and the boom box coming out the tunnel. Looks like they're not making it past this round though like State did.

Will Wade, after one of your guys gets a PF and you're already down 20 points, maybe you don't get a technical, and then maybe you reel in your players so one of them doesn't get a technical, too. Just a thought. 6 free throws. That is wild.

Big 10 hasn't lost a game yet. My assumption is that they were all big favorites in those games?
Never been a fan of B10 basketball, its usually over-rated but every team seems fundamentally sound. Maybe good traditional basketball teams > NIL/transfer built teams...theory #1.....theory #2...all the good mid major or lower conference players transfer to bigger schools...so the gap is wider now than before.

Agree here Denver. They might have one good year then most of their players will transfer for Nil to a power conference. Really sucks for the smaller schools and got fans because we naturally will root for a big underdog.

I still don't think the Big 10 will win it all this year. From the games that I've watched I haven't seen anything that really impressed me to think one of them will win it all.
