Playing high school ball in Charlotte in some of those environments and dominate he is tough as nails.

I got a picture with him after their game in Louisville and I told him to keep shooting, he nodded his head yes. I’m glad he keeps shooting lol. Love rooting for Evans!
He just seems to have more fun than anyone on the team playing the game. He grew up pulling for unc but he said he was not a big fan of any particular school
I agree king. Good energy can become infectious and I love that Evans brings that to this team. He gives me Andre Dawkins/Grayson Allen vibes.

SMU looks legit. Other than one freshman they are all juniors and seniors. We can beat them, but could be a buzzsaw game if we are not dialed in.
BCG amen. I love the way 'Rese played with a chip on his shoulder Tuesday. That confidence and aggression can help carry this team a long way. I have never seen him quite THAT dialed-in.
BTW, on the subject of guard play, something jumped out at me perusing the post-game stats: Sion's 11 boards. He is ripped and versatile as hell!!

They can score, no doubt. They put up 103 on BC last weekend. But they also are 94th on Ken-Pom D. However, I am worried about this game. They play in a tiny 7K seat arena that will be insanely loud, and early January road games have traditionally been a death sentence for Duke. Plus this is a place we have never traveled to before, so could take some adjustments to get comfortable.
This would be a big win for us as we have 3 home games following this, so win on Saturday and it could be a little while until we have to sweat a game out. But, I am nervous, we have to come out scoring.
This sounds like a great game for Duke. We know SMU will be stoked.
