It’s time for the big one.. the rivalry rolls into another game in which might be unlike any we’ve had. I personally don’t recall being this lackluster feeling of the game, it feels like just another one tomorrow as UNC has shown very little this year. Perhaps tomorrow around 6:30 I’ll feel different but right now it doesn’t have that pop to me.

We are currently favored at 13.5 and I feel that’s a fair spot to be at. However- I think we are in for a dog foght

A win can almost knock them out of the tourney. That being said, we know someone on their team will shoot lights out and make 5 3's. Start strong and I think we can curb stomp them. If we don't, we give them confidence and we're in for a fight. If that's the case then I think we start to pull away late second half.

Nate Ament is supposed to be there tomorrow for a visit. Let's put on a great show for him.

I am going to miss the game live due to being at The Royal Rumble in Indianapolis.

I will be checking the ESPN web page on my phone periodically to see how the game is going.

Just win! If their guards get hot from 3 it could be a long afternoon. If they shoot 60%+ from three we win in a tight one. If they shoot their season average we cover.

I also think we are overdue for a hot shooting night at home. Flagg is the X factor. They have no answer for him and he will feast in the second half.

UNC has Powell. He can defend and is very lengthy. If I had to guess Flagg will see a good dose of Powell, Lubin and Weithers rotate in and out on him.
Duke will need shots to fall and the front court to do some scoring . If Washington plays, I see him getting Mal into foul trouble early .

Brown back is good news. Even for a few minutes he could provide a spark. We should win. They will be fired up because it is a chance to turn their season around. A road win over the number 2 team is gold on selection Sunday, not many teams have that ace up their sleeve.

With Davis or Cadue in foul trouble they have zero chance. Cassel is doing the Wake game so we dodged him but Roger Ayers seems to do all the cheats games so probably him and Smith. I'd rather have tv Teddy.

Word is Washington is playing. Regardless, they have little option but to play small ball (it’s not even a choice — they can’t go big) and try to outrun us and hit 3s. I’m glad Malik is going to play at least a little. I expect we’ll see him at the 5 some. And I hope Pat plays a bit, too.

But we shouldn’t have to matchup with them. Playing our game well beats them playing their game well, so it’s more about execution than strategy for us.
