It’s a bit premature to end the season, no reason to jump off the cliff yet.
Weird 1st half. Evans and Big Pat gave Duke a much needed lift.

On a positive note; we played probably our worst half of offensive basketball and are only down 5!!
Man at this point I just want to get to next week healthy. Whoo cares about this week
If any team in the country can weather this, it’s this team. The other guys have to step up
Tried to stay level when Maliq first got hurt, then Proctor. Both isolated injuries would hurt the team, but wouldn’t end our title hopes.
Losing Coop though? Yeah, that is the one everyone should hit the panic button on. Damn this sucks.

We’re still a top 10 team without coop but that’s not what we want. Hope we get this w though. Seeing cooper in a wheelchair is not exciting
If Cooper is out next week, I still think this team can get through the first couple of rounds without him.
Idk, Johnny Broome’s ankle injury looked terrible a couple months ago and he barely missed any time. Who knows, the basketball Gods giveth and then they taketh away. This won’t be a popular opinion, but I think the best thing for Duke is to go home today and regroup. Even if they somehow could get by the Heels tomorrow. (And we all know Wake will roll over later) no way they beat Clemson or Louisville without those two players.

It would also deny UNC a quad 1 game opportunity which is funny.
On the other hand, a few more games this week prepares the other guys to step up. I really didn’t like the Cooper in a wheelchair visual.

NCAA is not going to keep the heels out of the tournament. Lunardi already has them in,

Hopefully he can rest up. As someone said, we SHOULD be able to get through the first weekend without him but please please be okay.
Cooper looks much better than I thought he would. Optimistic about him being available for the NCAA Tournament. Even if he isn't available next Friday or possibly even Sunday. This is still a very very good team!
