Official ACC tourney thread (all excluding Duke)

Who do y'all feel better about for tomorrow, Louisville or Clemson?

I kinda feel like Duke beats either. But in order for Duke to beat every team in the ACC this year, Clemson needs to come back tonight.

Just watched the presser with Jon, Kon and Tyrese. What struck me is the intelligence and class; which is what initially drew me to cheer for Duke in the Amaker/Dawkins days. Just really smart athletes.
Jon was asked about Cooper. He said Cooper was feeling better, but did add "he sprained it pretty good."

Just an interesting, first-time happening: Because teams were excluded from the ACCT, Miami ends their terrible season with a win. In previous years when no ACC team wins the national championship or lesser postseason tourneys, no ACC team could finish the season with a win. For the first time ever, we're guaranteed at least one conference member ends the year with a win.

No consolation for them, but it's an interesting statistical first for the ACC.

Same for me Chris. Duke has been getting a lot of top high school recruits over the years, and while some of our friends down the road likely disagree, they a generally (not always) pretty darn classy people. Kon certainly has that, but more impressive is Cooper to me. You can see what a competitive spirit he has, but he never seems to engage in jawing with other players, and I am SURE he gets a lot of chatter on the floor being the player that he is. He'll do the flex when he makes a big play, but it's never in an opponents face. I like that a lot.

I don't LOVE the flex Chris either. I think we are both old school. Times have changed since you and I played competitive sports I'm afraid. :) At least it's not an in the opponents face kinda thing. I see fifth year guys like Dickerson getting flagrants and ejected like it's 8th grade CYO. That's embarrassing on many levels IMHO. Meanwhile a 17-18 year old freshman with POY potential at one of the most polarizing programs in the country has handled things with class and style.

I don't mind the flex. Think we have a great group of kids/ young men. Even Evans the other night was all business. You look at our guys and their age vs Auburn and their guys and their ages, it's night and day difference.

How about this flex. In high school track we had a duel meet and the team from the neighboring school was on a run and watching. My best friend was on the other team. After my 800, which I won, I yawned as I crossed the finish line and went over to talk to my friend lol.
That was my only flex.
