Put a new name on the Duke radar as Will Baker from Austin, TX is now fully on the recruiting watch list.

I was told today by his AAU coach, Rhossi Carron from Basketball University (TX) that Coach K will watch the skilled post player this weekend. Baker is a top 20 prospect. He holds a lot of regional and blue blood offers.

Here is some intel and analysis.

  • Full 6-11 and 240-pounds.
  • Super skilled lefty with advanced offensive game
  • Pick and pop stud who can shoot it, pass it and handle it as a stretch five
  • Main players in his recruitment are North Carolina, Kansas, UCLA, Texas A&M and Texas
  • Believe Duke would be a serious contender should they offer
  • Jon Scheyer is the lead recruiter here and supposedly loves his game.
