Whatcha want?
It was some of us scheduled night off. Based on established by-laws, we would of been in direct violation of LNC Code: Cr-247-8A.Sooo where is the LNC y’all were bragging about??
No obligation to put LNC. It’s optional and only allowed if it’s actually late night.@FearTheBeard, if I'm in PST does that mean I'm automatically opted into the LNC? And if so, does that mean I have to place "LNC" at the end of my posts now? If it does I would like to unsubscribe.
@Showenuff, I like you. You're a staple of this board. I always read your posts when I see them. But to pretend your persona on this board isn't "the tough guy" is to not live in reality.![]()
PST doesn’t automatically make you part of the LNC, but due to the OFCers bringing the median bed time on the board down to 7PM est, the rest of us are all pretty much part of the LNC.No obligation to put LNC. It’s optional and only allowed if it’s actually late night.
I'm in San Francisco. My wife has a travel job that took us out here for few months. We drove here from Boston about 3 weeks ago. That.... is a long drive.@Mpm277 what state are you in on the west coast? I don’t think there are a lot of people on this board in the pst. I’m in Oregon.
I did NY to OR. It is not fun, but I did it in the Summer. I can’t imagine doing it 3 weeks ago if you took I-80. That must have been rough. We did it in 3 days. How long did it take you?I'm in San Francisco. My wife has a travel job that took us out here for few months. We drove here from Boston about 3 weeks ago. That.... is a long drive.
Well to be fair, we stopped and visited some family in KY for a bit to break it up. Drove about 17hrs straight to KY (we've done that trip several times) and then we drove two 12ish hours days from KY to the Grand Canyon, spent a night there, drove up to Vegas and spent two nights there, then about 9 hours or so from Vegas to SF. Fortunately we had nice weather and the drive was pretty beautiful. Oklahoma looks exactly like you'd picture Oklahoma, tho.I did NY to OR. It is not fun, but I did it in the Summer. What’s your opinion of Washington drivers in the snow vs NY drivers in the snow? I’m in the Willamette Valley, so we don’t get much snow. If we do get even an inch everyone freaks out and has no idea how to drive in the snow. In NY we’d get a whiteout with a foot of snow and people drove like it was no big deal.I love that drive. I listened to the Dances with Wolves soundtrack through the Dakotas. But I took a week. I don't do those mountain passes in the winter.
We went to SF last April. We went to a Giants/Dodgers game. I couldn’t get over the rent and home prices though. I thought Portland was bad. You could get a 3000 sq ft home in Portland for what you have to pay in rent for a 900 sq ft apartment in SF.Well to be fair, we stopped and visited some family in KY for a bit to break it up. SF is the highest cost of living in the US from what I understand. It wasn't much of a shocker to us since we came from Boston, which is supposed to be the third highest. I try not to think about what we were paying when we lived in rural Kentucky...We went to SF last April. We went to a Giants/Dodgers game. I couldn’t get over the rent and home prices though. The most important part is you’re drinking good vodka.I thought about trying LNC last night but the Grey Goose made it difficult to even type LNC last night. My bad.
