I know some of us follow Kenpom so I think we need a running thread in our levels there as it’s been historically a good indicator of March success-

After our “bad D game” and all Saturday games we are sitting at

2 overall 7 on offense and 2 on defense

Auburn is still somehow 1 with 1 on offense and 17 on defense

Houston, Iowa state and Florida round out the top 5

The next closest ACC team is Pitt at 27 followed by Clemson at 29 and UNC at 30

Illinois will give us the opportunity for a nice win coming in at 12

I wish the committee valued Kenpom over Net but they value the sh*t out of the Net rankings.

Probably SOS

I'm guessing our defensive metrics drop a bit with Brown out. But at the same time our offense seems to be climbing.

Would be willing to bet we are like 4 Offense 4 Defense by mid to end of February, which is pretty amazing.

At the end of the regular season Duke would have played a schedule that should have them ready for any team they will face in the NCAA Tournament:

Kentucky & Auburn (SEC high octane teams)
Kansas (Veteran laden and defensive sound team)
Arizona (Class of The Big 12 along with Houston)
Illinois (Strong Defensive Team from the Big10 and can really score)
Louisville (Gritty ACC Team, one of the hotter teams in the country)
Clemson (Experienced/Physical Team with sound coaching)
George Mason (Experienced Mid Major winning their conference at the moment)

Hope Duke faces any combination of Wake Forest/Clemson/Louisville in ACC Tournament Play

Duke will be Prepared for the NCAA Tournament
