From my perspective: Last year was such a clusterf--- in terms of chemistry-building, roster-development, that freshman guards who underachieved (cough, Roach, cough) should almost be given a free pass. At some point that can't be used as an excuse and it's not like every freshman guard in the country struggled (cough, Jalen Suggs, cough), but it feels like moving past COVID protocols and actually getting to cultivate some chemistry is going to be huge for Roach (and for Keels and Blakes).
