How long have you been a poster on D.I.

1 to 2 years, I can't remember for sure. When I first posted, there were some on here that called me a troll for some reason. I told them to give me some time and I would prove to them that I am a Duke fan and not a troll. Hopefully I have done that!
It must be a right of passage like you said Willcampbell. I was also called a troll when I first started and when you first begin you are only allowed to say things that everyone agrees with. When I see a new poster say something that some might not want to hear you know the troll accusations will follow.

This board has a history of other fans coming in posing as a duke fan. sometimes we are a little skeptical.I think it may be the way the first post is. The trolls have been less and less however. Will and gotta I don't even remember your first post but I can say for sure that you both are an important part of the board and add to it in a very positive way. OFC

Things are better now because mainly I think those types of people finally moved out of their parents basement and grew up some. We still get them though. Just less.
I think there are a bunch of really smart folks around here and we don't always see eye to eye, but we make it work.

Since April 2009 when we we brought John Wall in for a visit. I obviously convinced myself he was coming to Duke.
I'm thinking at around 4 years or so. As you can see from my numbers I'm more of a reader than a poster. Just wondering if Neners and I are the only dudettes on here.
That's funny that you mentioned that, Bluedevilfan. A little while back you and Neners posted in one of the game threads and it made me wonder how many other gals besides you two are on here. I think most of the guys know Neners is female, but I'm not as sure many know that you are. I was going to start a thread and ask for the female posters to speak up, but being a firm member of the OFC (in this case...Often Forget Completely), it slipped my mind until you posted. That would be a good thread for you or Neners to start. You're the only 2 I know of, but there may be more.

OAD I'm not a thread starter - just a participator so I'll leave that one up to you! I get the impression that we are the only two but you never know for sure. You're definitely off the hook for forgetting because your wonderfully creative and hilarious photoshop pics always make my day. It's one of the reasons I love this board so much.

Well, I'll just do it then. I'll start a thread and we'll see if there are a few more females on this board.
