If you can remember how long have you been posting here on the D.I. board? I've been here since 2006. I remember it because we were recruiting Lance Thomas and a lot of people were discussing him because he committed so late. OFC

i believe I came on during the Singler/King/Nolan recruitment and thought we had a chance at Love until I was explained the situation

I haven't posted that long, but I have been reading here for a while. I seem to remember finding the site while looking for info about the Patrick Patterson recruitment, but that may be wrong, maybe it was the Lance Thomas recruitment, because I am pretty sure skysdad has been here ever since I was reading. Or was Patterson the same time? It all runs together.
Patterson's recruitment was close to the same time because I remember how disappointed we were about losing him. I just checked on it and Patterson was a year behind Thomas. I remember posting about how many touches Billy G .promised him at UK. OFC

I can't remember for sure but I believe I've been poshing on DI for at least a few years maybe a little longer.

You were already posting when I started Heyman. I lurked for a little while to get the feel of the board . I started off a little green but pretty soon I felt at home. You were a favorite of mine from the get go because of your nickname and you knew a lot about Duke history. To name a few already on board along with yourself were K-ville, dukiejay ,denniden, nivram, rosh,dattier,dukehokie, boilermaker( Wonder what happened to him?) and a Duke fan from Durham I think who was totally off the wall and got banned a few times after coming back on with different nicknames. Always looking for a fight not only with UNC fans but with Duke fans. Does anyone else remember this character? There are several of you who were here I'm sure when I started but just can't name you all. That's one reason for the thread. OFC
It's gotta be at least 5 years. I had another name before so it's possible maybe even 7 years or so.
Patterson recruitment for me as well..... It's hard to believe how much I used to think and care about recruiting drama. Patterson, Boyton, Barnes to name a few that stick out
Side note, is it just me or is the recruiting "guru" business dieing down? Seems like the last few years there hasn't been near we much of those types of guys??

Started my account to post on NCPreps in Dec 2005... That has died down significantly literally nobody I enjoyed posting with does anymore and nobody new has taken the places lol. I've posted periodically here since then but been trying to pick it up the last year or so

I don't think you and KVille were around quite then yet....maybe a few months after. The names I remember are blue.666, Nimrod Dancer, Dattier, Hymera, clayton, Atlanta Blue Devil, etc. I know you were posting after the UConn loss in 2004, but were you posting in '03 already? Maybe you were.
Back then the community on this board wasn't near as big. And believe it or not, the Duke and UNC fans got along pretty well too....lots of Duke fans posted over there, and many of their fans posted here. When Tar Heel Radar took over for Carolina Blue that board changed quite a bit. Many of the lunatic fringe from the old THR followed them over, and a lot of the sane UNC posters from the old CB days just quit posting. Before THR took over the UNC board was probably the second most popular bball board on Rivals next to CatsPause. It's nothing like what it used to be.
Just about to complete my first season (rookie) posting. Been following on here for a couple of years, but been a Duke fan for a lot of years (veteran)!! Wish I had joined in a couple of years ago, really enjoy some of the posters on here.

It was clayton dukehokie. Dukiejay listed him on his post. He changed his handle a couple of times. He did post like a kid. Maybe he's an adult now and can do a little better. Who knows he may even be back on. OFC

I have been here somewhere around 2004-2005. Back in the day, some posters would have a number beside their name for the number of months they had been a member. I wasn't sure if that was for premium guys or not. Some posters still have "hall of famer" written beside their name.
I think earlier this year someone asked me how long I had been on here, and I said about 3 or 4 years. Well, I remember that I came on right after Harrison Barnes' famous 'Skype' in Nov of '09, and was around for our 4th natty. So, I've been on here a little over 5 years...wow...time does fly!

I was just messing around. I was definitely in before KVille, but I am not sure when it was exactly.Though I remember all of those guys you mentioned. Remember "cutback32?" DukeCanes was also around in the erarly years. He became a moderator and haven't seen around in years.
I remember the old days of UNC guys posting here with us as well. JVallstar was a guy I like going back and forth with.
