Carolina Panthers- Baker looked lost the first Half came alive in the second hope this is Rhules last season as head coach.

If we can get rid of Rhule I’d have a lot of faith haha. I like baker and think he could be “the guy” but we need a new coach severely
Yeah I really thought after the Donald trade was an epic fail , Rhule was for sure gone but money talks. I do not see him making it past this season and temper doesn’t have the patients for loosing . Carolinas O-line is still bad
I must have misread your post. I understood it as Tenn. is your favorite college football team. I apologize. I grew up in Elon, NC. Part of the Elon Community all my life. Knew many friends and athletes that played at Elon. and I pull for Elon except when they play Duke. So if I did not misread your post if and when Duke plays Tenn in football you will be pulling against Duke. OFC

It’s duke over anyone including UT but Tennessee is my secondary school I guess and after duke I root for them
I don't watch the NFL anymore until the Super Bowl each year.
For college, I have a number of teams I root for, for various reasons:
Duke: Been a B-ball fan since 1990, but I follow the football team.
ASU: I went to Arizona State, we suck, it is what it is, it will never change, I have come to grips with this fact lol.
Notre Dame: I'm catholic
Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas: Football is better when these programs are good. I'm a child of the 80s and early 90s so I have nostalgia for these teams.
And any underdog is a team I cheer for.
Back to my Saturday tradition of an Old Fashioned with Rye whiskey.

I knew you were true blue pisgah. If Duke ever has a women's wrestling team I will be their biggest fan. Side bar here but it happened to me again today. Was at Walgreens and a old dude who was older and a lot uglier than myself was behind me in line. He missinhpg some teeth. ( I'm proud to say I have every single danged one of mine except the wisdom teeth.) I had a Duke t-shirt on and the first thing out of his toothless mouth was " why ain't you a wearing a karlina shirt? ( I didn't miss spell carolina that's the way he pronounced it. Well I was in rare form and I told him that the only fans that ever say anything about what team I support is karlina fans. Not NCSU or WF fans but karlina fans. He immediatley stated "oh I'm not a karlina fan. Imma Duke and State fan just picken at ya. Bull crap I thought but I just shook my head and walked away. Proud of myself. OFC
I like the Bengals and Notre Dame, although I do cheer for Duke as well. Duke has looked great so far. Notre Dame so far have been a train wreck, which is usually what happens when you let an unexperienced coach take over a big program. Esp. in football. Not saying Kelly was a legend, but I believe he is the winningest coach ever at ND, percentage wise. People took Brian Kelly for granted. 10 win seasons are pretty impressive.

I was 11 watching the Steelers/Raiders in ‘72 when Franco made the catch. I was hooked! I’m a a Steeler for life, & have tickets Christmas Eve to go to the 50th anniversary of the “Immaculate Reception”.
I was at church with my mother as usual. She loved to say that they would replay the game. The comment infuriated me. Have fun at the 50th anniversary. I've never been to a game there, but I walked around the stadium. It's a great setting

Raiders and Duke. Carr is my favorite player, and Rich Gannon and Tim Brown were growing up.
I will never refer to thm as the (Commanders). They will always be the Redskins to me, and I will always hate the Cowboys. I proudly display a "Redskins" bumper tag on my car. Hail to the Redskins....
As a Cowboys fan, the feeling is mutual. They will always be the redskins and I will always hate them.
Was in Cleveland this week……seeing Guardians signs just made me laugh. What a joke. They’ll always be the Indians.
As fellow NFC East fan the term Redskins is very offensive....every good person knows the proper term is Deadskins.

Favorite Non Blue Devil athletes: Charles Barkley, Penny Hardaway, Randy Moss, Matt Ryan, Ken Griffey JR.

I'm down to 2 NFL games per year (plus highlights): the Super Bowl and the Lions on Thanksgiving b/c goooo Lions! (It's a family curse.)
cfb: Duke #1, then in no particular order, NCCU, Michigan St, Wayne St, Central Michigan, App St, Navy, Swarthmore.
I don't care for Alabama b/c a dynasty that's not your dynasty... but I respect them and recognize that their greatness elevates cfb. UNC & tOSU are the only teams whose success is for the good of the game but whom I always pull against.
