Scientists say that the 1.5 billion cows on earth help create the majority of the 15% of the greenhouse gas emissions on the planet (7.1 Gigatonnes of Co2-equiv per year) that are created by livestock, something that is definitely worth looking at, especially given the continued increase in animal numbers demanded by an ever-growing population and because some scientists have found that we could mitigate that with methods such as diet changes for animals.

Anyway, all of this is way off topic. Here's to hoping Aventti's got nothing. My guess is that he DOES have something. He wouldn't be blackmailing Nike with NOTHING, after all, and in what he thought were private conversations he said he could just blow the whole lid off of things and that would get him a lot of attention.

Anyone who thinks that just Adidas is involves is fooling themselves.

Well, considering he is one of the most popular (or was....) liberals in the country who tried to take down Trump and Kavenaugh, I would say he is known for nothing but being a liberal hack. And, floated the idea of running for president as a democrat. Other than that.....

Wait... what? He was one of the most popular liberals in the country? I have never heard anyone say that. Ever. Harris is popular. Obama is popular. Sanders is popular. I don't think I've ever heard anyone refer to the porn star guy as popular. Not one liberal I know has ever said anything other than A) he was Stormy Daniel's lawyer and B) he is a scumball.

Ah. This is a good thread. "Liberals" will be angry that the porn lawyer tried to extort Nike, methane linked to livestock can't be discussed as an issue because "cow farts", and we don't listen the guys who developed the microchip and the space shuttle and the polio vaccine and the combustion engine and penicillin and Copernican heliocentrism and nearly every other aspect of human life because "Russia collusion is bull$shit!!!"

It’s not really liberals even any more. Old school liberals are fine it’s the commies that run the democrat party that scares me. I can handle the joe Biden, Nancy pelosi, bill Clinton crap but it’s the rest that is well... :eek:

Oh, no doubt; he is the absolute scummiest of the scumbags. Guys like this give lawyers a REALLY bad name, which is a damn shame because a LOT of lawyers are really important people, and many are really GOOD people as well.

But scummy people often deal with other scummy people. And from what he is saying, and from what we've seen, there are a LOT of scumbags in the money side of sports and shoe companies. So it is entirely possible that A) he is a disgusting dude and B) he knows stuff.
