Auburn vs Duke

Welcome! I will echo Denver and say explore the campus. It's gorgeous. There are a ton of good pizza places and bars. I love Dain's and Bull City Brewery. Dain's burgers, though...A f$#king one.

Alley 26 or M Sushi for some fine dining. Both are walking distance from The Parlour for great ice cream and Pour for beer. All are walking distance from the Durham Food Hall and The Glass Jug Beer Lab by the downtown Farmers Market.

The Federal and James Joyce are two bar/restaurants right next to each other across from Brightleaf Square, and next to Gorsha for Ethiopian food.

Tough call. If you're looking for a local steakhouse in Durham, NanaSteak is probably the closest thing. If you go a little outside of Durham, into Raleigh, The Angus Barn is possibly the best steakhouse in the entire Southeast.

Angus Barn is the ticket. A great dining experience & great food.

Good luck getting in there
Yes, you need to make reservations and there probably aren't any available this time of year.
If not, you can still go early and hit the Turkey Lounge upstairs. There will be a waitlist but it's first come, first serve.

It's a very cool place and it decked out for Christmas.
