ACC announces four-part online video series on Coach K

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference, in collaboration with ACC Media Ventures, will debut a four-part online video series honoring five-time national champion head coach Mike Krzyzewski as he nears retirement after more than 40 years at Duke University.

The series is entitled LEGACY: COACH K and features 10 former Duke players as they reminisce on college basketball’s all-time winningest coach and his four decades as the Blue Devils’ leader.

Kenny Dennard, a former Duke standout and a member of Coach K’s first Blue Devil team, will host the series. The 1980s will be represented by Jay Bilas, Johnny Dawkins, and Alaa Abdelnaby. The 1990s will showcase Grant Hill and Steve Wojciechowski. The decade of the 2000s will feature Shane Battier and JJ Redick. The final episode will cover the 2010s with future head coach Jon Scheyer and current assistant coach Nolan Smith.

The players talk about their first impressions of Coach K, his motivational style, his intensity, and their continued relationships with him after their playing days were over.

LEGACY: COACH K will air on the following dates:
Friday, March 4, 8 p.m. – The 1980s
Saturday, March 5, 8 p.m. – The 1990s
Sunday, March 6, 8 p.m. – The 2000s
Monday, March 7, 8 p.m. – The 2010s

The series will premiere on a variety of ACC digital platforms, including Facebook, ACC Digital Network Channel on YouTube, Samsung TV+, The Roku Channel, Plex and Stirr. Episodes will remain available online following the debut.

Between this and the recent documentary series about the history of the ACC tournament we're spoiled with potentially awesome content. I've also been reading the Ian O'Connor book on K that's not at all what I thought it would be. Thanks for posting this!
