9 Guys

Duke had nine players with double digit minutes against Brown. That's pretty impressive, 'cause the game was fairly competitive most of the game. K has a lot of pieces he can juggle around, and that was without Tre playing.

It’s a bit of an “all hands on deck” mantra this year. Some nights you’re going to see Player A play 25 to 30 minutes and the game it might be less than 10. Everything dependent on matchups.

I think this is a good analogy, DJ. K is not as 'stuck in his ways' as many posters on here believe. He plays to the strength of his team, whatever that may be. We're also in a little better position to ride out some minor injuries than years past with the contributions of the collective.

I think K enjoys this type of team. I’m sure he liked last seasons team, featuring Zion, but I think he’s coaching more the way he likes to. Seems like with the elite talent that’s been here starting with the Tatum team, through the Bagley team, he managed more than he coached.

Just my opinion.

Love how almost everyone is contributing. I'm at the point where I want to see Robinson get some meaningful minutes on D. His blocks/minute must be amazing. Not saying give him X minutes a game, but slip him in every chance you get to sub D for O. Give Vernon a little more rest and save fouls on Javin.

We need 10 playing double digits this entire season. Once we hit the tourney then we play the guys that give us the best lineup to win that game. But during the season just roll with 10. Especially don’t have Tre playing 38 minutes a game. Let’s not wear him out. Goldwire has shown he can run the offense without Tre on the floor for 10 minutes a game

I just looked up how many mpg players are playing and we have 10 players averaging double digit mpg this season. The mpg range from DeLaurier and Baker at 13.8mpg to Tre at 34.5mpg and I imagine that those averages will stay about the same for those players throughout the regular season at least. Robinson and Buckmire are the only 2 players that aren’t averaging double digit minutes.

I would tend to agree Mac. So much talent on those teams, and some sensitive attitudes I might add caused K to maybe walk on eggshells. I think hes much happier this year, and seems much more like the Old K! OFC
