After four years of Trump, sane people realized we could not survive another four years of his crap. So yes, more people came out than Obama but that was for different reasons. The unnerving thing is how many wing nuts there are in America.
You’re a special kind of ignorant. You don’t just drink the kool aid, you and your other half bathe in it.

The New Lounge

Um. Trump was not running against Obama so that is irrelevant. He ran against Biden, who had a strong showing during his debates against Trump. So right back out of here. GTFOH with your ignorance and stupidity.
The point is it’s hard to believe the Dem base showed up at the polls more enthusiastically for Biden a senile incompetent than Obama the Dem Savior. Your post reeks of naïveté and befuddlement

How do y'all complain (without warrant) about mail-in voting, then turn around and brag about how many votes President Trump got, then turn AGAIN and act suspicious about the votes Biden got? You realize every losing candidate in over a century got more votes than George Washington, right?

Urban areas have the most votes and report their votes later than rural areas. More votes meets longer lines means later poll closings means later and longer counting means later reporting. It's pretty easy to understand. Nothing suspicious about it. And urban areas lean Democratic.

The reason Republicans try to limit early voting and reduce the number of places to vote is that they know it harms primarily Democratic voters. Expanded opportunities to vote helps primarily Democratic voters. 2020 saw record mail-in voting due to Covid. The conservative Heritage Foundation documented fewer than 30 cases of fraud nationwide during the 2020 election.

i agree with devilinside. i have gone back and looked at the box scores and loftis was meh
vs wake
7-19 86yds 1td 1int
vs unc
16-28 189 yds 3td. we ran the ball for 179yds. maye passed for 342yds so how loftis outplayed him i dont know. WE GOT ROBBED
vs uva
26-45 270yds 2td 1 int.
vs pitt
20-37 248yds 2td 1 int

i like loftis but he is no riley. he went 69-129 for the year so he barely completed above 50% of his throws.
belin is in the same ballpark but his one full game he played with a busted shoulder so he is also an unknown
murphy is also an unknown. he started 2 games and in his big game he threw 2 int.
potential potential potential we have and i hope someone steps up

Maybe the Pubs should stop whining about elections you lost and focus on getting a candidate that can get a majority of votes.
He did, he won the states that only the winner normally wins, received more votes (74 million) than Obama (65 million) in 16, yet we are supposed to believe Biden (oatmeal for brains) got 81 million?

GTFOH with your stupid nonsense.

Look at these democrats saying, you know? Trump is right. Too bad they will never allow Trump to take the office again. Probably put him in jail or house arrest on September 18th.
The Dems will never lose a close Pres election. They’ll do what it takes to cheat, steal an election. Anyone who questions it will be locked up like the Jan 6 ers still in prison for trespassing. Well, this great country wasn’t the Roman Empire, not even the British, but we had a good run

This is really my view as well Lift. Thanks for posting. Henry threw one beautiful long ball to Jalon Calhoun vs NC State for a TD. The rest was game management(as you duly noted). Loftis clearly showed more upside.

Hopefully all three of our qbs get time Friday nite vs Elon. We have quite a test I believe the following week @ Northwestern.

I am sorry, Hart, but in all honesty, I believe that Duke's quarterback situation is weak or, at best, a mystery. In my opinion, neither Loftis nor Belin are capable of reliably directing the offense. While Loftis did do a few good things against the Cheats, the Cheats defense was not very good. Loftis and Murphy are not quick on their feet. While Loftis did not lose games for us, he was placed in a conservative offense designed to minimize errors partly because he did not have a skill set even remotely close to Riley's. The best we can do at this point is to guess at Murphy's ability to run the team. Hopefully, my amateur evaluation of our QB's will prove to be dead wrong. OFC

Loftis was behind Belin but performed better than Belin when Belin went down.

so why is no one crying that Belin (who was the #2 qb till injury last year) was recruited over and per some has lost a spot on the depth chart. i really like hart and liftee but have just never agreed on this one take. heck Belin beat (a better than unc) nc state team with only one shoulder. i am just happy that we have 3 good qb's in our room at the moment
Surf my friend. Loftis was behind Belin but performed better than Belin when Belin went down. I felt like Belin only game managed the State game. But I certainly have nothing against Belin and I hope there will be a real QB battle next year since I think Murphy will be gone. It's pretty obvious any college football team needs at least two QBs to get through the season if not more.
