Off-season thoughts

Great news that Foster is back. He worked through some struggles this year and hopefully will break through next year. Him and Brown are a nice returning core, along with hopefully Harris and Pat. Transfers are nice, but there is no substitute for returning guys who already know the system.

Glad Caleb is back, but he was underwhelming to say the least. Still great news and helps the backcourt a lot. Hopefully more good news on the horizon.

Has Brown said he’s coming back?

Nice to return players but it would be great if they were impact players too not role players. We've returned players before and they have failed to significantly improve or contribute to expectations. We shall have to wait and see if Foster can make that transition.

Ament just posted a new story on his instagram with he and his family all wearing Duke stuff captioned “Legacy over Hype”. Think that’s a sign Duke is landing him and Proctor is gone.

Foster/Cayden Boozer
Evans/Harris
Ament/Henderson
Cameron Boozer/Khamenia
Ngongba/Brown

Let’s get a rim protector/lob threat Center from the transfer portal and Roll!!!

I highly doubt Proctor is back. He is now early second round on some mocks and seems like he is ready to move on. Plus this year was probably his best shot at a title. I still have hope for Evans. I would take Proctor over Ament.

Travis Branham who is pretty dam connected said Tennessee is the leader for ament. If that means Evans year 2 I’m absolutely fine

Chris I am HEARING 'Rese is gone, Evans/Harris returning. I caution NOTHING OFFICIAL.

OFC

I am so confused. I am sticking with Proctor gone and one of Evans/Ament.

Surprised we haven't had any other news today being that the Foster news was early this morning.

You may average 120 ppg with Evans, Ambent, Boozer, and Pat on the floor but you’d have to because guarding will be optional.

Defense was something I just loved about this years team and it hasn’t been something recent teams have been that good at. Really hope Jon doesn’t lessen the priority there.

The fit of Ament to UT is perplexing. Barnes let Lanier shoot it but the offense is puke. They play so rugged

Ngongba and Cameron can Defend

Is National 6th Man of The Year an award in Division 1 Men’s College Basketball?

If it is, Brown has a chance at that award as well as the National Defensive Player of The Year Award for the 2025-2026 Season

Brown brings the D to defense and to me seems like all he wants to do is help the team achieve its goals . He is the one guy I want to come back with Big Pat . Help take pressure off Boozer and hold down the paint. His ability to switch as a front court player is something worth watching and most his take aways are from guards .
