Movies, TV shows you are watching.

I loathed the new Twister, haha Battlestar Galactica is my jam though. 70s or the reboot? I enjoyed them both.

Watching the new show mobland . It’s been ok the first three episodes .

How’s Brosnan so far? The previews left me wondering whether he could pull that kind of role off
Good. Reminds me when he played in the foreigner with Jackie Chan. However he’s a bit more off in this show lol

Going to watch Wolf Man. I really enjoyed the director's take on Invisible Man with Elizabeth Moss so fingers crossed. I also want to watch Wallander, a BBC cop show with Kenneth Branaugh.

Rewatching The Stand miniseries from a few years back. It was okay the first time around but they have yet to do that book justice. I really want to see the recent Salem's Lot, as I am reading the book now.
On a side note I picked up Kinect for my 360 super cheap and kinect sports. It looks like fun; I enjoyed Wii sports back in the day.

I watched Split Second, a BBC drama set in Scotland. Clive Owen plays a stressed out lawyer who hits a guy on a bike with his car in a road rage accident and then leaves the scene. He hears on the radio the next day that the cyclist has died, and he does not tell his wife about it and the police are looking for the killer. Great thriller from the early 2000's. The actress who plays his wife is excellent, she played Malfoy's mother in the Harry Potter films.

In Dreams 1999
Looked great on paper; a horror/thriller movie with a great cast and Neil Jordan (The Crying Game) directing. It starts out promising and then falls apart into a complete disaster. Annette Benning is good as a mother who loses her daughter to a serial killer. Her and the serial killer have a psychic connection and share dreams. Benning is a good actress but she goes so over the top here(as does Robert Downey Jr. as the killer) that I was laughing out loud at parts. Aiden Quinn plays the husband who does not understand. It goes so far off the rails in the third act. Stephen Rea very unsuccessfully attempts a Boston accent.

Finished all 3 seasons of White Lotus. The only thing offensive thing related to the family from Durham is that it had UNC fans in it.
Parker Posey has been my hall pass since the '90s.

Other than being portrayed as a total cuck, he’s been good. I will be glad when Maeve and Eddie are killed off. Absolutely hate those two characters. But loved her in 1923.

Havoc on Netflix...it was a bloodbath
As Sir Charles would say, Turrible. Just turrible. Viewers were supposed to care when characters that had five lines were killed. Gotta have some character development, otherwise you might as well be watching a Mortal Kombat reboot
Damn Tom Hardy will massacre an American accent if he gets a chance
Forest Whitaker and Olyphant were wasted in this turkey 🦃

Thought Tom Hardy did real good in Venom and Lawless with his accent. I’ve heard way worse lol.

Kate Winslett is amazing. Mare of Eastown, The Reader, Quills, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Finding Neverland, and Revolutionary Road, to name a few. Terrific actress.
