That comic run was great, and I thought they did a good job with the adaptation. The sequel was dog water, though, haha
The first episode had me tearing up at the end. I can only expect it to get more challenging to watch.

I like Bill Pullman lol. Yellowjackets was good. Season 2 got a little weird.
So good and Zoe Saldana is so fine. She is such a badass in that series

I revisited Absolute Power tonight for the umpteenth time. Stacked cast. Eastwood is so damn good.
Chris Nolan and Denis villeneuve make everyone great. The two best current directors.
Prisoners was messed up but great. And the one with the giant spider at the end.
Watching Eddie the Eagle, the true story of a British skier who made the Olympics in the one where they jump off the giant slide. Guy who played Elton John and Hugh Jackman star. One of my favs.
Watched Sicario for like the 10th time. I still get pumped watching that shooting scene at the border lol.
Dune, blade runner remakes as well.
Denis villeneuve just makes good movies. Didn’t think anyone could do a blade runner sequel justice. He proved me wrong. Also, del toro is amazing in sicario and the sequel.
I told my kids recently that they need to watch the 91 and 92 Final Four and Natty games. I told Zach that if he thought last night was bad he has no idea lol.
I watched the 2025 NCAA Sweet16 last night and it was pretty awesome! Plan to do the same tonight.

Really good movie, if a little mushy. Joe Pesci is a homeless man who bonds with Harvard student Brendan Frasier, who needs a father figure. Great cast, including Moira Kelly and a pre Grey's Anatomy Patrick Dempsey. Great theme song by Madonna I Remember.

The Firm has a stacked cast and one of the worst film scores ever.
I remember thinking that when i saw it. It was a strange choice to go with the repetitive piano score. It did not seem to fit the movie. Still a decent movie though, based on a good book.
Rainmaker was another John Grisham movie that came out around that time. Started off the Matt Damon run. I think he did saving private ryan, good will hunting, and rounders right after Rainmaker. 3 incredible movies.
There are some bangers right there. But never forget that Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms, yo.
Took me a while to get the Kevin Smith reference. Phantoms is a good book by Dean Koontz, but the movie was bad.
Watched The Core. One of the most God awful movies I have ever seen, and I like disaster movies. A team goes to the Earth's core to set off nukes to restart the Earth's core which has stopped rotating. Because of course this would work. Hillary Swank plays an astronaut who wears bright red lipstick. You can't make this stuff up. At least I had a good nap halfway through.
Other than twister, Can’t really get into those types of movies but I do like a good sci fi. I remember that one coming out. It has the guy that plays Harvey dent.
That's one of the worst. Saw it in the theater, too. Ugh.
