The Great Almighty NCAA who would rather issue a ruling on something this trivial than 2 decades of bogus classes to keep athletes eligible. Also its eaten up by the haters we attract not only from fans of others schools nationally, but a biased media against Duke!

Nothing will come of it, but the magnification of the coverage a story like this acquires here in North Carolina is staggering. Of course after a while you just expect it here. A huge number of sportswriters went to journalism school at Cheater Hill, and the ties that bind are strong......

Yeah i get it, seems like you are blowing this completely out of proportion or are just paranoid about what people who already hate us will say. Having said that, it’s a great opportunity to take a shot at the NCAA and their handling of the cheats (which is what Dirt did) .By all means.

As for the actual slip of the tongue, i reiterate- who cares? It’s nothing. If other fans want to bitch about it, knock yourselves out, if it isn’t this, it’s something else. Who cares.

After the issues brought up yesterday with Chase Young and Wiseman... I wouldnt be surprised if the NCAA tried to punish K for this. They seem he'll bent to show they are still in control even though the writing is on the wall.

The NCAA is a terrible organization, and had been for decades.

Evidently you, lmao....You keep talking about it....Again like I said in my OP, I "emphasize MINOR." However if we're in a war over media coverage Raleigh N&O, Chicago Tribune and plenty others did have stories on it. Like I said Duke thought it was important enough to SELF-REPORT it to NCAA, and I think that was a smart move. I AGREE with your "who cares" philosophy, but the wise athletic folks at Duke took swift action.
