These kids need to hit up some Mickey Ds or be introduced some protein shakes. I've never seen such scrawny kids in one game

Summary of the game as usual: 46 possessions, 7 passes, 46 second chance opportunities, many third and fourth chance opportunities.

Haha.

Also, Ivan Rabb and Carlton Bragg will be beasts in college.

The point guard paired with Kennard is so bad!!

I watch this every year usually but omg I had to turn it it's keeps getting worse!

Any stats on our recruits. Not watching game. Watching American Idol with Skysdad's wife and mother of DukeSky85 Aka sonofskysdad and skysdadson.

Man, I don't even know why I bother watching the game anymore. I want to check out who we have coming in, but all this is, is how not to play the game of basketball.

Ken nard 3 points, on 1 shot and an assist. He has touched the ball about 3 times. Chase Jeter has touched the ball once.

Not much talent with this group, at least compared to years past.

It is one game but I haven't been overly impressed with Swanigan (with other video/games as well). He is definitely a longer-term prospect IMO.

I don't think Kennard will do well. He was open constantly and never got a single pass.

Diallo looks like quite a prospect too.

I have a hard time listening to Jalen Rose speak.

I Am experiencing, pass the ball rage!

As a whole, this class looks very underwhelming IMO. Does not remotely compare to the 2013 or 2014 classes. Agree about Kennard almost being frozen out by some guys earlier in the game. I've been a bit impressed with Jeter's movement, but neither he nor Swanigan have looked particularly good. Swanigan, in particular, looks like a bit of a project. He needs a lot of work in the weightroom to develop the type of quickness / agility / vertical leaping ability to really be good player. Right now it seems as if he's a Kennedy Meeks-type below the rim player.

These kids are way below last year's. Our four freshmen could beat any of the five on their own

I had to stop watching, it was terrible. I've seen middle school teams shoot better than those guys. What time I watched it seemed that Luke and Chase wasn't getting any touches.OFC

Tried to watch a little of this but after a handful of air balls and no passing i turned it off.

I liked Kennards movement on defense. He seems pretty smooth...just never got the ball. Jester seems like he has a long way to go physically.

I thought Luke having 9 points was pretty good considering they wouldn't pass him the ball even when he was open.

Yes, Kennard looked to have good size (for his position) and moved well. Nothing I saw from him last night would lead me to think he will not be good next year.

Il earned a long time ago not to worry about these games. Aside from a few of our top recruits they do not have the ball in their hand and the mentality of shooting every time they get the ball. I remember watching the Jordan brand game one year and thinking how good McAdoo and p j Harrison , hair bear , etc would be . That didn't come to fruition so. I am quite confident in. Our guys.

^This. Completely playground ball. I couldn't even watch, even though I wanted to see the future Duke players.
As far as the Bleacher report grading, you can take that with a grain of salt. Kennard didn't even warrant a grade, which is understandable, he hardly ever got to touch the ball. I feel just as good about him coming to Duke as I did before.
Chase Jeter, I hardly remember seeing him, and he didn't get many touches either.
Caleb Swanigan got graded a "C", which is about right for the way he played.
Really liked Ingram, but he sure looks like his bones could break running down the floor. Man, he needs a little meat on him.
To me, this game really doesn't show the true ablilities of some of these players, just a run and gun showcase.
Go Duke!!

I watched 3 minutes before I got fed up but the biggest takeaway for me is that this class as a whole does not have college/NBA ready bodies that prior classes had. All these guys could benefit from at least a couple years of a college weight room program.

Kennard looked great during the 3-point competition.

I'm actually really excited by Jeter. He blocked a few shots and got a couple of good rebounds. I'm actually quite impressed with his mobility. He ran the court well. I think he will work well in a more structured atmosphere.

This is kind of what some folks were wanting right? More players that will stick around to let us get to know them.

It should be the norm, but lately it seems more guys have come into college with the size and strength of an upperclassman. I think if you are a program looking to rely on Freshmen next year, you will struggle since these guys are going to have a tough time dealing with the strength and size of experienced teams.
