I love ‘Savage K’

I think it’s a little ridiculous to expect Coach K to bring the fire every night. I’m in my mid-30s and I can’t be engaged every night in any of my endeavors. I think he’s also done it enough to know that if they don’t get it in practice, acting a fool and screaming in the game isn’t gonna get it done. If you throw your jacket off every game it becomes some lame schtick like Gary Williams (although that poor guy was sweaty) and players lose respect for the act. I think in his wisdom he understands there’s a time to teach and a time to go savage

Since you mentioned Gary Williams I miss the guy. Not only with the coat coming off and the crazies yelling "sweat Gary sweat " but I loved it when the five players on the court would screw up he would turn around and start yelling atvthe bench with his arms waving up and now and just going nuts. OFC

Problem is, some people feel if his coat doesn’t come off or he’s not screaming he’s not engaged.

I think most great coaches do bring it every night, but some nights it might not ‘look’ like we expect it to in our heads.

Well as someone who does some coaching myself I have done the Gary Williams "yell at your bench about someone on the court" thing many times. And as a Duke fan who very much disliked Gary when he was at Maryland, I always think about that and feel a little down.

If there is ever a TV series called exploring the mind of Ipsy, there is NO WAY I’m missing a single episode!!!!

I’m really glad I didn’t play that video. I’m ok with not knowing.
It’s so bad man, you’ll never unsee how horrific and sick it is:eek::eek::eek:

Ps never check your kids phone. I’m 100% sure there’s far worse REAL stuff lmao  maybe Bigfoot

I have a question: will Coach give J Rob double digit minutes the rest of the way? I certainly hope he does. We need a spark.
