Happy birthday to our G.O.A.T.

Well I guess it's a matter of opinion, right? At least you guys could have wished him a happy birthday. Grant is my favorite of all time though. OFC

Christian is such a huge part of the reason we are what we are. Other than K, there may be no one person more responsible for Duke's success. Would Duke be the program it is today without him?

No. Christian left a legacy that indelibly marked the Duke brand. Happy Birthday to Duke's greatest AND MOST PRODUCTIVE player of all time Christian Laettner!!! Nice post Sky!

Agree 100 percent. He was not afraid and wanted the shot to win a game. He hit so many shots at the end of games and was money at the line

This Tar Heel didn't hate him at all. I was disappointed when UNC lost the recruiting battle for him. I could be wrong, but as I recall, I thought that he would choose UNC because his mother preferred Carolina. I liked him all along, but particularly after he dominated Alonzo Mourning as a freshman. I disliked Ferry and some others, but I always liked Laettner

If someone knows how to post his game winner against UConn in the Elite 8, I would enjoy seeing it. Calhoun was a great coach, but even I knew that the ball was going back to Laettner after he inbounded

Calhoun was one of my least favorite coaches. Glad to see Laettner make that one.
