Nice to see them not take their foot off the gas, or play to their competition's level.
 
Grayson flipping Allen because he's a boss and I got a feeling he'll win most of the game balls this year
 
Love the way BI plays. Thought he would be a more "me" type player like Austin Rivers. But he looks for the best basketball play almost every time. He's gonna be so good by the end of the year.

I have to go with Grayson again. He is just in command of his game early on in the season, and the team looks quite different when he is not on the floor.
 
Multiple players worthy of consideration, but again I'm going with Grayson.

Grayson, Amile, Matt & Ingram are playing great. Thorton looks like a boy among men (which he is). Duke will definitely need better performances from him in order to excell against tougher opponents. Jeter and Kennard seem to be performing as projected while Obi looks to be buried on the bench. Overall, this team is shaping up to be very good but it will late into the season before we know how good.
 
I really liket that as aggressive with the ball as Grayson was, he definitely was hunting his shot, he is not a black hole. He had a career high 6 assists. In tight spots/against tougher comp, Duke is going to need a go to guy, but it helps so much if that go to guy doesn't take that shot come hell or high water and is willing to create for others if the D warrants that. It keeps the D much more honest and keeps your teammates involved and more ready/able to contribute. I think that was what hurt the team with Jabari and Hood at times. Jabari wound up taking shots he shouldn't have or didn't need to and the complimentary players watched. Not blaming Jabari. He was so good early and that sit just kind of evolved.

How about Vrank?! I thought he looked really good. Most important, he looked like he knew what he was doing and that he belonged out there.
