Duke players, Coach K back Johnson's decision to leave

Probably won’t affect a lot of posters’ opinions. Haters gonna hate.
You’re correct, as it won’t affect mine. Kid quit on his teammates, coaches, and university. Hope he had fun watching his ex teammates knock off UVA tonight!

It’s business. If a better job came along for you I bet you would quit your current. Plus it sounds like he wasn’t fully healthy from what some of people’s basketball God said. Speaking on the ppl that think K is perfect

What a horrible take. A better job comes along? Where? There is three weeks left in the season. There’s no other job to jump to. Is he going to the G league right away? Despite the joint statements and the recent Bilas damage control comments, it’s pretty obvious to anyone with a semblance of objectivity, what happened.

K isn’t perfect, but he deserves a hell of a lot of credit for the fight and effort this team has shown the last few games, when they could have easily rolled over and quit.

The more games we win, the worse it looks for him. Interesting to see how far he slides. My guess would be late first round, but someone may take a chance on him in the middle of the first round. But it's looking like a huge risk at this point. The NBA seems to be high on him, so it doesn't matter what I think.

You clearly missed the point. You keyed in on one part and trying to debunk that. I stated its business. There’s no loyalty when it comes to business decisions and what’s best for you. Actually he starts getting money ASAP. I’m sure he has an agent and he’s receiving money right now because they know the NBA want him. He looked at the bigger picture down the road. He wasn’t healthy.

playing hard wasn’t really the problem most of the year besides the early game lapses against good teams. Our problem this year was lack of direction when it came to roles. The difference right now is Matt is hitting shots at a high level and we’re finally letting our defensive anchor in the post play. Things some of us have been asking for all year. Nobody is playing out of position now

Who played the 5 for all but seven minutes last night? You "clearly" don't see the whole picture.

For you it's always- we were bad because of coaching, now we're only good because of the players.

Coach K is the best at being politically correct. How the coaching staff and players really feel does not need to be revealed.

Just stay focus. I'm learning new 'dance' moves.

Not only that but it only hurts recruiting to criticize a player who just left in such a situation. In some cases he has been critical but guardedly so and not with a big recruit.
