One thing that I’ve always wondered is why is it that when they show replays of games they’re always edited shorter replays

Halftime and less extra stuff

I get that they cut halftime out of the replays but I’ve seen lots of game replays where they’ve skipped ahead in the game. I can’t remember which game it was but I DVR’d a replay of one of our games earlier this season and when I watched the game the next day, after halftime the game was something like 5 minutes into the second half. A lot of times during replays of Gomez they’ll say “due to time constraints we’re going to jump ahead in the action”.
