Duke/Indiana 2002

In 2002 we clearly had superior talent, but for whatever reason our team fell apart in the last ten minutes of the game. The missed calls on Duhon picking Moye's pocket and Boozer getting hacked at the end were painful... but, equally painful for me was to watch Coverdale's turn-around jumper with one minute left that bounced around the rim four times before finally falling in. I felt pretty good the whole time until that shot went in.

One other thing that hasn't been mentioned is how we struggled against Notre Dame in the round of 32. We were down 7 with six minutes left and then went on a 7-0 run to tie things up... pulling away in the final minutes. The 2002 Duke team was very talented, but we definitely weren't invincible.

First game I can remember being completely pissed at! And boozer was hacked and shoulda got to shoot

Boozer was hacked, but they had no business letting it get to the point of relying on a call. Which you and I both know the refs don't have the nads to make a huge call that could decide a game at a critical moment like that.

Duke didn't guard down the stretch and was killed on the boards. Bottom line-it got away from them.

I'm not much for a refs costed us the game stuff and while Boozer got mauled, that isn't why we lost that game.
