As a UNC fan, the last thing I normally worry about is Duke recruiting. But in Coach Scheyer's first year, Duke will have even fewer returning players than usual. He needs to sign at least four freshmen who he can count on to be on the 2022 roster. Looks like a very good offer
I think Duke is in decent shape with Whitehead, Lively, and Flipowski all three, and maybe also Rice
Lively looks fabulous. Very bouncy. Fast. Dare I say "lively ". I'm not familiar with the others . I know that Lively is visiting Duke and UNC on consecutive days
In the past, I thought that it should be pretty easy to eliminate Duke or UNC early if considering both. With two new staffs, I envision some protracted recruiting battles between Duke and UNC
I googled Kyle filipowski. He looks good. A long list of schools including Syracuse. Does Syracuse have their next coach lined up? It seems that Boeheim has an impossible job if not
I like Flipowski, but he looks like a Syracuse guy, or a guy who will transfer to Syracuse. Seriously I'd take him.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe he is also visiting UK this month.
Another one I didn't mention that I'm hoping we have a shot at is Gortman.
I feel really strong that Whitehead will end up at Duke. If Jon were to get Lively and Gortman, that would be a very strong first class as head coach
He has a lot of skill. Hard to believe he isn't ranked higher
How has Howard turned Michigan around so fast? Recruiting. Scheyer can silence half his critics before his first game with a good class.
What is the status of Michigan Center Hunter Dickinson? I believe that he's still in the Draft Evaluation Process. He's top 15 no doubt in my opinion. I've not seen his name in Mock Drafts
Love the transfer rumors starting being he even commits. Kudos.
He’ll be 21 in November. Testing Social Security waters for a college sophomore.
