I'd rather not for my nerves. I hope they lose their first game and it ends their season because Davis will turn down the NIT.

Definitely no. Ideally, seeing them lose in the first rd, miss the tournament and watch their fanbase cannibalize themselves in the aftermath would be preferrable.

Yes as they cannot match up with Duke. Even if they put forth a gallant effort like last night. Duke ground them down in the end. There is a “wear down effect” when you play against this Duke team because of their length.

100% yes. Beat their ass at their place by double figures with the best player in the country sitting on the bench for half the game. Would be 20+ pt. win if we play them again.
Somebody told me yesterday they were hearing some chatter from Tar Heel fans saying, Do we really want to win and advance to play Duke again? Do we really want to have another loss and go 0-3 against them this year?

Last time we did it IIRC, was 1988. DUKE beat The Cheats three times. Duke churned out t-shirts with CAPITAL LETTERS:
"DUKE TRIPLE CROWN"
Scores of each Duke-UNC game were listed beneath, and the tees were White with Navy Blue lettering. I wore that t-shirt proudly and often!!!
However, do I want to see them a third time this year?? No,don't want to go thru it for the same reason as @bleediteveryday30 - "my nerves."

It wouldn't really matter to me. We are a matchup nightmare for UNC. Davis had one of his best games of the season. Flagg only played 29 minutes. We took their best shot, and ripped their hearts out that last 10 minutes to beat them by 13 @ UNC. This Duke team beats this UNC team 95 times out of 100. In past seasons, K's last for example, they were in our heads. It's completely opposite this year.

I totally agree Alan. This Duke team is in their heads big time now. Coop gets 3 fouls, all their shots are falling, and they go up 6 points early in the second half, and then Duke shuts them down the last 10 minutes of the game. You know deep down they don’t want to see Duke again. Add the drama with how the Flagg’s were treated and you know the Duke team was offended. You don’t poke momma bear and get away with it. I want a three peat.
