He had a very memorable season for the Heels....one none of us will ever forget. Be thankful.
UNC fans will never forget how he led them to a 3 game win streak at the end of the season

Big stat line last night from Cole. How is he still projected as a top 5 pick? He’s a risky prospect. I’d take Cassius Stanley over Cole honestly.

Whether he ever admits or not, there's no way he doesn't regret going to UNC. Sure fire top 3 pick to mid lottery now.
Can you imagine him playing off Tre instead of having to do everything himself? Cole looked very good before his injury. I can't tell how much that is still affecting his game.
cole was looking good before the injury but nothing like Kyrie. The writing was already on the wall with him and this unc team. You could tell he was going to be a ball stopper and this team didn’t mesh well. Cole is another victim to roys lack of managing top tier talent.
Maybe teams figured out how to guard against him as well. I mean he did shred up Tre Jones.

When? He shot 41% from the field in the first game (25% from three), with four assists and four turnovers. In the second meeting he barely showed up....29% from the field without making a three, and three assists with two turnovers. That's hardly pedestrian.
No, they actually didn't. While they don't get to participate in the NCAAT, although they earned and deserved it, Anthony did neither. Anthony will always be remembered for playing on the worst UNC team in two decades and one of their worst ever. The three guys you mentioned from Duke do not share that distinction.
I hope Platek, Francis, Bacot, Huffman, Manley and Smith return to UNCheat next year. Those guys are awesome.
I don't know. Cole went out with a bang: 2 for 10 from the field, 0 for 6 from 3 pt. range, 6 turnovers against only 3 assists.
This reminds me of a quote from, I believe, Scott Hastings, long ago player with the Miami Heat, who once said to the press, "People are always comparing me to Larry Bird. They say, 'That Scott Hastings, he's no Larry Bird.'"
