Wasnt sure where to post so adding this here...talk about a can of worms...if former players sue and win these types of lawsuits....oh boy
"Former NCAA tournament hero Kris Jenkins, in a lawsuit filed last week with the Southern District of New York, is suing the NCAA and six major conferences for limiting athlete pay and restricting his ability to capitalize off his name, image and likeness while he was at Villanova University"

I think there is more than just this lawsuit that’s already been filed. College sports is in turmoil . Don’t know what the answer is to fix it either.
I’d assume we will see a lot more as NIL payouts become bigger . I mean BYU just gave A.J $7 million for six months . That’s only I think 6 million off from a lottery pic starting contract . Now you look at some of the star “ College” players over the years who never made it to the league who stayed four years on winning tourney teams .

Anyone see the NIL tax exempt bill up for vote in the state of NC? What a load of crap. All NIL revenue would be tax exempt. Businesses will get 50% tax credit on NIL spending worth up to 500K per year. And the kicker…UNC’s Board of Governors will match funds or donations made to UNC’s collective.
