In the Pelicans 122 to 107 win over the Nuggets.. the 4 active Pelican’s Blue Devils scores 79 combined points (also, Mason Plumlee had 10 points for the Nuggets)..

Ingram - 25
Jahlil - 26
Frank - 21
Redick - 7

The 7 non-Duke players the Pelicans played last night combined for 43 points.

I’ve been watching a lot of the Pelicans this year (for obvious reasons), and Frank Jackson is really good.. I did not expect him to be this good in the NBA so soon - I still believe he should have played one more year at Duke though ;)

Jackson was the missing piece on the Bagley/Carter team. Throw him out there at point, with Grayson and Trent, and then the 2 monsters inside, and the title was ours.

In 2017, I thought that way, but today, Frank made the right decision. It certainly caught a lot of people off guard that he left, but when you believe in your abilities, you have to leave. His injury slowed him down, but he made the right decision as much as it pains me to say.

Agreed, but I’m not disagreeing with his decision. He certainly belongs in the NBA.

And it’s funny we still almost got to the Final Four without Frank that season.

I like Frank Jackson, but let's be honest, he's not really a point guard. Look at the box score. 0 assists. I mentioned this a couple years ago, but the guy was only 3rd on his high school team in assists. 28 points and 3 assists in high school. Perhaps we would have been better off in 2018 with him instead of Tre, because Jackson can actually shoot. But, the guy is not a facilitator.

I will say having 3 Duke guys from the same team score 20+ points is ridiculous. I'm gonna go on a limb and say that that's never happened in the history of the NBA. I need the Elias Sports Bureau to back me up on this one. But, I think it's accurate.

I’ve been watching to see if that is indeed a record.

Duke players contributed 89 of the 229 total points.. that’s 39% of the total points in a game being scored by players from one college..

The top 3 scorers in the game were all Duke players..

The Duke players combined were 69% FG’s.. and were 7/11 from 3..

imagine if Zion would have played!

I saw a post from Duke Men’s Basketball Facebook page that it’s the second time in NBA history that it’s happened. The second time was 1987 and it was 3 players from the Rockets.

Olajuwon, Drexler, and someone else from Houston all had 20+ in a game before. But that's it. Not bad company...
