I'd never heard of these guys but sounds like they are somewhere between a traditional HS and the G league...sanctioned by the NBA too...this is just another nuance for the game to navigate. Should be interesting to see if it succeeds.

Naasir Cunningham, the No. 1 high school basketball recruit of 2024, told ESPN he will sign with sports media company Overtime Elite but keep his college eligibility open.

He was already a reclass candidate and he can still get NIL . I think the idea is for him to stay in his regular class but having a year to go against future pros before making a decision on college is a good idea. Especially when your potentially the number one over all pick .
