Have learned a few things today on the basketball recruiting front:

-- J.P. Estrella is going to visit in the next month, dates just haven't been finalized. Duke wants to find a big in the 2023 class to pair with Sean Stewart and it feels like it'll either be Xavier Booker or Estrella.

-- The top priority in 2024 class is Tre Johnson.

-- Another "big one" in '24 class is Asa Newell. Obviously the Montverde pipeline to Duke has been fruitful and this would be the next snag from there.

The Roast of Tom Brady got me thinking (and honestly, I'm quite bored waiting for Sion James' announcement): If there was a roast of one person from Duke sports, past or present, who would you want it to be?

Obvious answer is Coach K.

Can take this a step further and say you've got to name who you'd like to see roasted *and* who you'd like to see do the roasting.

The first is Jaden Watkins, a second-year DB who came in as a WR. Trying to be nice here ... I think this transfer was coming no matter the coaching situation.

Kicking off this thread with a profile on Bryce Davis.

As discussed on the free board a couple of weeks ago, he's the one to watch in Duke's '25 class. Would be a massive sign for the direction of the program to lure Greensboro's next stud DL out of the clutches of the usual suspects (UGA, Clemson, UNC).
