Zion as the Center

It’s all relative like the above poster stated. Since the offense was built around being “position-less” he was essentially filling the 4/5 spot in the paint and on the perimeter on both sides of the ball.

I think the way he was used was perfect. He was scoring over longer players inside and driving them on the perimeter. Seemed like he was moving really well without the ball too (loved the play they started running in the tourney where he walked up the court with Tre at top of the key and flashed to the middle when the ball moved to the side). he could of had more touches but don’t discount what teams were doing clogging the paint and collapsing on him...and he still did what he wanted.

No... sounds nice but we definitely couldn’t afford to have him in foul trouble. He’s an aggressive defender, he’d be on the bench if we used him more at the 5.

If we would have been able to hit the broad side of a barn shooting threes he would have been more effective inside. It was amazing he did score as much as he did inside with teams sloughing off the perimeter to automatically double and triple team him in the paint.

We just needed him to touch the ball more. Great things happened when he touched it. Offense should’ve been ran through him
