Coach K provides a bright spot for fallen sailor's family

Chief Petty Officer Randall Smith who was shot by the terrorist in the recruiting station in Tennessee passed away after fighting for his life.
Governor Bill Haslam asked the family if there anything he could do for Smith as he was still fighting to live.
His wife asked him to call Coach K as Smith was a lifelong Duke fan.
Coach could not make the trip to Tennessee but recorded a message to Smith and his family telling him that he had a place for him at the Duke games this fall and win his battle to live.
Sadly Randall Smith lost his fight . Duke lost a great fan and America has lost another hero.
