Winslow guarding Lebron and Harden back to back

Show approves this thread.

At 19, Justise is exceeding expectations to hold guys like that to under 40 points. He is a future all star.

Okafor's having a pretty good game vs. Cleveland. 14 pts at half with Philly leading. OFC

His offensive skills and game are made for the NBA. He is a beast in the paint.

Noel is obviously one reason Jah's rebounding numbers are a bit lower, but Jah isn't a very good rebounder at this stage of his career. I said it last year when he was at Duke too. He'll improve, though.

Justise is fitting into his role and doing what is being asked of him. The sky is the limit for him. He's in a pretty good situation at Miami getting to learn and watch two respected veterans like Wade and Bosh. People who don't think those kinds of things don't play a factor in a players development are foolish.

Tyus is part of the Wolves future....but right now it's hard for him to find minutes. Rubio is healthy and playing well, and LeVine being able to slide over and play the one as well as he does means tough going right now. Tyus is going to be spending some time in the D-league here coming up....and that's ok.

Wouldn't start him over a so. meeks, but he's pretty good.

All joking aside, his offensive skills are scary good. his ball handling is fantastic and what he's done with his body is awesome. He keeps this up and he'll be the best big in the NBA in a few short years not named Anthony Davis (and they play differently). One thing that REALLY irritated me during the predraft coverage was something Colin Cowherd said when saying he would take Towns and Russel over Jah. He said that he had been hearing things that Jah doesnt have the drive or passion for the game. It was the first time in history i was about to call up a sports radio show and say you should probably get new sources then. Jah works INCREDIBLY hard and absolutely has a passion for the game. If you dont believe that, than you should probably go back and watch some tape of Jah when he wasn't in the game during last season. If that is a kid that has no passion or drive than give me 100 like him.

I've heard a couple people mention that about Jah too, timo....and I just don't see it. Offensively he's so polished that sometimes he looks it look so easy. Maybe that's where people get that interpretation.

I'll say this....I was firmly in the camp saying the Wolves shouldn't pass on Okafor for Towns. But my opinion is changing a bit. KAT is really, really good now too....and he has a chance to be really special. Okafor could certainly be better in the long run, but even if he is I'm not sure it will be so glaring that folks think the Wolves made the wrong pick. I've been beyond impressed with Towns' game this early.

You are so right OAD, he is still finding his way, and playing his part. He looks almost the same right now as he did at Duke, "fearless". Still love to watch him play and the sky is the limit. He still attacks the basket like he did when he was @ Duke, and it doesn't matter if they are Pro or not!!
Go Duke!!
