Who thinks Tatum is one of the top ten NBA players in the game today?

Tatum is fortunate to have the best coach in the NBA. Brad Stevens is too smart for Brett Brown and Philadelphia

James, Durant, Kawhi, Curry, Giannis, Harden, Davis, George, Luka, Lillard, Embiid, Jokic are all better.

He’s top 20 but he’s trending into the top 10 and probably top 5 someday, remember this is only year 3 for him.
As guys like Lebron, KD, Steph all age...Tatum will be rising up the ladder.

Agreed, not there yet but he will be before too long. He has stretches where he plays like a top five guy. But a little more consistency before he’s in that top ten.

Disagree wholeheartedly with Paul George and Embiid. Might slot him ahead of Curry given his issues and would rather have him than Jokic.
But in what order do you give a 5-yr contract?
1. Giannis
2. Luka
3. AD
4. Kawhi
5. Tatum
6. Zion
7. Adebayo
8. Jokic
9. Mitchell
10. Harden

Good question, if I gotta give a 5 year contract, that rules out alot of the older guys... I'd go...
1. Giannis
2. Luka
3. AD
4. Kawhi
5. Tatum
6. Jokic
7. Harden- 30 years old, probably get 4 more elite years then a dud.
8. Zion- He is much higher if he proves he can stay healthy and conditioned.
9. Lillard- Same as Harden.
10. Mitchell

Honorable mention: Booker, Adebayo, Ja Morant, Sabonis, Siakam, Simmons.

Paul George was in the MVP race last year and Embiid is probably a top 3 center in the league. Tatum is well on his way though.

The NBA has so many great players. When Jamal Murray was at Kentucky, I thought he was okay. I was mesmerized tonight as he was the reason Denver beat Utah in the playoffs. In the last two games, Murray has 92 points, 19 rebounds, 15 assists and zero turnovers. It's fun to watch players improve. No telling how good Tatum can be
