Visiting Campus

I am going to be in the Durham area in late September with my 18 year old son on a Sunday. If we visited the campus is there anything to see at Cameron? Any must do/must see things in the area for an afternoon?

Sunday service at Duke Chapel is a possibility. Only athletic event I see is field hockey on the 25th. Home football vs. NC A&T on Saturday the 17th

I have heard about the scenery at Arizona State many, many times.

The ASU campus is pretty nice, but it's like going to school in an oven. I ran there in college. (we had a meet there) The track was yellow.

Beautiful time of year in the Duke Gardens. I understand there are some great micro breweries although I'm sure your son wouldn't be interested in that

If you are really good golfers, the Duke University course is tough, beautiful and expensive. Brunch at the Washington Duke Inn would be nice too
