You'd be wrong about him being a UNC fan boy. He's part of the N&O staff that spent years harassing Roy and trying to get UNC wrecked in the court of public opinion.
I will thus say that's refreshing. Of course not every N&O writer wanted UNC punished. I am sure there were days Dan Kane felt like a lone "wolf."(No pun intended.)
