At some point and time teams are going to look at players as frequent flyers. I mean how does a player even get a four year degree should he go between four schools . I get the one time transfer but it’s like they are saying,” we will give players four try’s to get the school right!”

I understand players want to play but dang . If you don’t get minutes at the first two at what point doesn’t the player start to think it might be him or her ?

The NCAA is the frog in the Boil the frog idiom.....and any action they have taken just increases the temperature of the water. Its not a rosy outlook the way its headed at the moment.

Eventually, I think football and basketball players will become employees , not students.

I agree WJB. Not that it has much to do about education right now, but I see paid athletes with agents that work work for the schools they play for, not "attend classes". They will be contracted employees. Deepest pockets will have the best players.

At least it won't be anything new for UNC.

You have inept leadership with the ncaa, and you have ridiculous money thrown at the pro players. That’s a terrible combination.
How can we make it worse? Oh yeah, let’s create a transfer system that is awful, and why we’re at it, let’s allow these kids to make money off their NIL.

If anyone thought allowing college athletes to make money while in school was going to make things easier, I’ll gladly sell you some ocean front property in Kansas.

Again, the fan of college basketball has been screwed.
