Roy reminds me of a 11-12 years coach at the girls and boys club. His philosophy for coaching is real simple, run a fast break as fast as you can, big men rebound for an easy put back, and step up on the defender. When UNC needs some motivation, he will utilize his power dump squat and employ his helicopter finger spin to speed the game up. I chuckled when he told his players they are good enough to win a title this season.

unc is good enough to win the national championship this year and as much as I love poke fun at him running that fast break and offensive put backs win games. You're good though Peter. OFC

, ?$

I respect your opinion, but I don't see it with this years UNC team. UNC will not have the luxury of college basketball being weak this season and they lose Flex and Paige. IMO, They're a sweet 16 team.

Lmao!!! It is a "power dump squat!!!" And dont forget the other signal to fast break- the windmill motion of the right arm! What a comedy show, and what a liar!

UNC could be laughing at everyone come April. They're top 6-7 guys talent is as good as anyone in the country and it starts w/ Berry. If Hicks plays to potential, sky's the limit for them...they'll be a challenge for us, certinaly winnable but a huge challenge.

Obviously I loathe Roy and everything UNC, but I feel we have to be real about the strength of the UNC team this season.

UNC will lose 10+ games this season. I'm not worried about them one bit. Remember they loss 7 games in a weak year of college basketball and lose 2 of their best players from last year. Hicks is suppose to be the Brice Johnson? Give me a break, he is good, but will foul out many games and UNC doesn't have the frontcourt depth they're use to having. Also, look at the amount of assists Paige dished out last season, who will step into his role? I know Berry will pick up his production, but overall this team is worse than last seasons team. Combine that with college basketball being much stronger this season and UNC losses 10+ games and gets booted by the 3rd round. I expect Duke to whip them atleast once this season.

NO QUESTION they are talented and deep enough to take it all.....I respect their players abilities and depth (especially on perimeter) very much....Heck Britt is back for what, his 12th year??? They still think Pinson will break out and Williams is supposedly automatic from outside...This is in addition to the more established Hicks, Meeks, Jackson, Berry...

However, like Jurkin I think Hicks in addition to Meeks will have trouble w/fouls...Johnson and Paige were their leaders last year as Jurkin noted...Berry wont sneak up on folks this year, and he will face defenses more designed to focus on HIM in absence of Paige. Jackson as well....

Yes but have to remember that meeks is not only spry now but he plays above the rim. Trouble for everyone. He might just leave the court at the center jump line and tea bag a defender at the foul line and not only bring down the rim but the whole goal standard.. How you gonna defend something like that.
