OT switching nfl teams

I’ve never switched NFL teams so to speak. I grew up as a Redskins Dan and still pull for them but I also became a Panthers fan when they joined the NFL. So I pull for both teams which is why games like yesterday suck where both of my teams play each other because then I have to choose which one I’d rather see win which is usually the team that still has a chance to make the playoffs and unfortunately with the Redskins winning yesterday they pretty much killed any chances that the Panthers might’ve had of making the playoffs.
Let’s say you were a St. Louis Rams fan? Are you tied to LA now? Or when Oakland moves? Also what about ownership change or name change? Say I liked the Charlotte bobcats but MJ and the name change pisses me off?

That’s why I hate when the Redskins and Panthers play because a part of me wants the Redskins to win but I also want to pull for the team that has the best chance to make the playoffs at the time of the game and in recent years that’s usually been the Panthers. It also seems like that’s one of the few times that I even get to see a Redskins game is when they play the Panthers or the Cowboys. Outside of those teams it seems like they hardly show any Redskins games here in Central North Carolina.

Go outside and yell, “I HEREBY DECLARE MY ALLEGIANCE TO [insert team name]!” Do three backflips, pound a beer, then give a good old Rick Flair “WOOOOOOOOOO!”
Then it’s official.
Keep it between us though. The rest of us are worried that Cowboys fans will find out about it and try to switch teams.

I can't change teams. Been a Redskin fan all of my life. Living right outside of Charlotte has me wanting to see the Panthers do well but not when they play the 'Skins.
The only way you can do it is if your home didn’t have a team then got a team later on... I was a Dolphins fan that has converted more to a Panther fan, but only because the Panthers didn’t exist until 1995..

I am tied to the organization rather than the city. I’m pumped for the move to Vegas.
Haha! Yea it seems like these past years, Dallas has more than enough talent to win more games in the regular season and compete for an NFC title, but it never comes to fruition. Very frustrating indeed!
Tepper bought a bad situation. Now he’s trying to do right while not killing his pockets.
I think Ron and the entire staff are gone after the season . I’m a die hard panthers fan but it’s time to part with cam and start getting rid of the elders and quit getting mediocre players.
Yea seems like there are an awful lot more new england fans now for some reason.Just root for the team with the best record, like a lot of other jerks.

Will Cam be next? I’ve heard rumors that the Panthers are going to trade him and have also heard that he could be traded to the Bears. If he gets traded, will if happen during this offseason or will they wait until his contract runs out? Which I believe is at the end of next season. If they’re smart they’ll trade him this offseason because if they wait until his contract runs out then it will take away air of leverage towards getting a trade done.
Ron's a good coach. He will find a job soon after the Super Bowl or before when the play off teams are annonced. There will be several job openings. With that said who are the leading candidates for the Panther job and someone mentioned Cam being traded to the Bears? Really? Does that mean for Trabisky? OFC

Cam being traded to the Bears is a rumor that I’ve heard from a few people on Facebook but that’s the only place that I’ve heard those rumors, so I don’t know how much truth to those rumors. I think it might’ve also been mentioned on the NFL Discussion thread on the main college basketball message board but I can’t remember for sure without going through that entire thread to see if it was mentioned or not.

The owner is looking at all avenues with Cam from letting him play healthy next year to releasing him and only paying him two mill instead of his 19 owed. I really don’t see getting much in return for him via trade. His injuries the last couple of years have him fading.
I’m a falcons fan, but if they play the Texans, I don’t know if I can pull for Deshaun Watson to lose. The struggle is real!! And what if the worst case scenario happens and Trevor Lawrence goes to Dallas? I can’t pull for the cowboys, but I can’t pull against sunshine!!
It will be like putting @QC Dukie in a round room and telling him to pee in the corner!!
