OT Best Guitarist of all time

He was before my time but I’m going with Jimi Hendrix. His signature guitar that he played was a right handed Stratocaster that was strung and setup for a left handed player and when he played it he played it upside down.
There are so many great ones. I cannot say who is the greatest of all time because to me there were so many styles. I will list some of my favorites.

Carlos Santana
Stevie Ray Vaughn

Leslie West
Chet Adkins
Jeff Beck
Joe Walsh
Eddie Van Halen
These all came along before the turn of the century and I'm not too familar with those who are playing now. So who in my opinion of the above is best. Hendrix of course, no it's gotta be Clapton but Carlos had his own style like no other but so did Hendrix and Clapton. But to be fair have any of you ever heard Leslie West of Mountain rip on Mississippi Queen? No I can't go there when Hendrix whips out Purple Haze or Clapton gets into Layla and Carlos feeling it with Soul Sacrifice. To be honest I have given this thought before and I'm always changing my mind between Hendrix,Clapton and Santana. So we will see who gets the most votes and I will disagree even if it's one of my three. OFC

Jimmy Page, Bob Dylan, Jeff Beck, Neil Young, and Eric Clapton are my favorites. Page is the best though.
Chet Atkins won’t get his due but he should
Jimmy Page. But Vaughn is my favorite. Zeppelin in my opinion is truly the most talented band of all time. If you look at each member of the band, you could make a strong argument they are the best ever at their "position." I was in HS in the late 90's and we would literally listen to Zeppelin for hours on end every weekend. Give me some Buuussshhh light and Tangerine.

Lindsey Buckingham! One of the GOATS. The man can shred like very few can.
Lesser known, Robbie Blunt killed it for Robert Plant in one of my favorite songs here:

My favorite bass guitar player is John Taylor of Duran Duran. He is recovering from covid 19
Robert Plant is one of the all time greats. My lord, everything he's involved with turns to freaking gold.

I love Nugent playing the star spangled banner. It takes a minute before he is actually playing it but I think it sounds awesome. There are some things I don’t like about Ted,but the man can play

If someone ends up starting a thread on greatest drummer of all time. The drummer from Def Leppard is the first drummer that I’m going to be the first one I name because he lost his arm in a car accident and is still a drummer and fans call him “Th; Thunder God”.
I am. Love music. Couple of the guys I posted play in groups. Tom Morello plays in Rage Against The Machine and Nuno plays in Extreme. There are so many great musicians and I thought we could use a good music thread. Will have to come up with some more to help us pass the time.
