So I have watched them a few times this year including last night and I must say that they have a very impressive team. The way they move the ball around is a thing of beauty and they can really shoot the lights out from 3. Grant does pretty much everything and Connaughton can fill it up. They are not the greatest defensive team and I see that as their major vulnerability right now. And you are going to have to score to beat this team, no doubt about it.

With that being said, I am very intrigued to see what are strategy will be against them. We have a huge advantage in the post IMO and I assume they will double on the catch of Jah. We will need to get production out of the 4 if this happens, whoever is playing it. We also need to hit open jumpers.

Defense is what is scary to me personally. Not because is has been an obvious weakness the last few weeks, but our saving grace has been switching to zone. If we zone Notre Dame for 30-40 minutes, they will light us up. Too many shooters and they work the ball around way too well. So if we play man, how will it go? Should be an interesting one in south bend. We REALLY need a healthy Justise to match up with Grant. We don't have anyone else that I feel can come close to checking him. Maybe Matt, but I am not sold on that at this point. I think if we keep them in the 70's we should win, because I think we are figuring out who we are on offense and the shooting is coming around a little bit at a time.

What are you guys thoughts on the Irish and how we match up?
