Mitchell is averaging 23.9 minutes per game. Do you guys think that will hold once Whitehead is back full time? Also, does Lively's absence affect Mark's minutes?
Hmm. Hammer good questions. I haven't really thought about or researched it, but it seems there would be some impact to Mark's minutes. FWIW, Mark can be an impact player at times, and I wish he would attack the hoop more. He CAN hit the three, but I certainly wouldn't call him a pure shooter by any means.Mitchell is averaging 23.9 minutes per game. Do you guys think that will hold once Whitehead is back full time? Not in disagreement over anything here, but the love Dariq gets is confusing to me. The kid clearly has talent, and probably has a higher ceiling- but it sure as heck isn't in his one year at Duke. I would much rather Mitchell be on the floor than him.Hmm. Hammer good questions. I haven't really thought about or researched it, but it seems there would be some impact to Mark's minutes. Yes again I would say is the answer to your questions. Lively's presence is sorely needed for a semblance of rim protection as opposed to Mark.Whitehead is probably the better overall player than Mark, although that's been slow to emerge with Dariq's injury.
Still Mitchell has a great upside. I think he will continue to emerge, and hopefully help us win some games. OFC
To go with this Chris. Do we see him more as a hybrid four? I think that is his position . Playing the four but being able to guard the three.I like the starting line up of Lively, Flip, Mitchell, Proctor and Roach. Unless Whitehead really explodes let him be the scorer off the bench. He really hasn't earned a starters' spot imo over Mitchell to this point. Not his fault, but I get a little tired of hearing about upside. Mitchell has upside as well.
It’s obvious by now half these guys are frauds. Flip pretty good. Roach solid pg. who’s not even healthy. The rest? Have fun with that.I like the starting line up of Lively, Flip, Mitchell, Proctor and Roach. Unless Whitehead really explodes let him be the scorer off the bench. Let Lively and Young split time at the 5.
Frauds? How so ?It’s obvious by now half these guys are frauds. Flip pretty good. Roach solid pg. who’s not even healthy. The rest? Have fun with that.
They're really "tough,"We are 10-3 with several good wins. I do think the next 6 games are tough. We should beat FSU. We really have to. @NC State, we've lost there with better teams. BC and Pitt we should beat, although Pitt is playing well. Then @Clemson and Miami.
I would take the 4-2, and yes it "would really suck" if Cape tops Scheyer in Durham. Capel will really bring the heat. That one will be personal to him, and Jon must make sure we match the Panthers' and Jeff's intensity.4-2 to my eye. But that's assuming Roach is healthy. Would really suck if Capel came in and beat Jon at Cameron.
Frauds the wrong word. Vastly overrated, haven’t gelled yet, recovering from injury, now they miss a game with the sniffles.Frauds? How so ?
I’m trying to give ‘em some tough love. I heard the players hang on our every word. I’ve heard they turn down potential liaisons with coeds cus they are preoccupied with their phones, wondering if KD or Christophero have posted anything about themComon man you're better than that. We are all frustrated but there is still a lot of season left. Do we need to toughen up? Yes.
Merry Christmas! Damn Bengals nutted it out today ha haOkay that made me laugh. Merry Christmas.
Do you think Roach re-injured it?4-2 to my eye. But that's assuming Roach is healthy. Would really suck if Capel came in and beat Jon at Cameron.
