Looks Like Justin Robinson Son Of The Admiral Will Be On Scholarship

Anyone else find it interesting how many sons of former NBA players have ended up at Duke? Off the top of my head:

Mike Dunleavy Jr.
Nolan Smith
Seth Curry
Austin Rivers
Justise Winslow

Who else am I missing?

I suspect, as long as Robinson is an active contributor to the team, and the team doesn't max its scholly's in any given year, he'll have a scholly. In a rare case that there's a year where we max out the scholly's, he'd be the one left out. Which I'm sure the family can afford, and likely this has been well-discussed by all involved.

Danny Ferry's dad also played in the NBA. So did Alex Murphy's....although he's no longer a part of the program. Last one I can think of is Jabari's dad Sonny.

Also, Shavlik's grandfather Ronnie Shavlik played in the NBA.

Chris Collin's dad Doug has been an NBA fixture for decades in various capacities.

There are also a lot of guys with big-time pedigree outside an NBA playing career.
Grant Hill's dad Calvin played in the NFL. Bobby Hurley's dad is one of the greatest high school basketball coaches in history. Jeff Capel's dad was a college basketball coach at a few places, as well as an NBA assistant in Charlotte.
